Why should I buy USGlobalSat GPS Products

I guess I'm pretty disappointed that you are providing no upgraded maps for the GV-370.  It was my first GPS and it is in its 3rd year of use.  I was able to update one time and was told in August that the product was discontinued and no map upgrades are available.  That pretty much makes my GPS unreliable as time goes on and for all intents makes my investment in the unit a bad one.

Since this was my first GPS I'm not sure what the life expectancy of a GPS should be but I'm questioning my wisdom in making future purchases when map updates become unavailable in such a short time.
