You will never have the shortage of battery problem about your electronics devices outside.
You just need to put 2*AA battery into it and then to charge your portable device.

Why did you and your team not decided to use rechargeable AA battery's, or can you use them with 2.4 volt as outcome?

Rechargable is our next plan, however, it will impact cost. 
2.4V maybe ok, but the effeciency will be worse.

I have a lot of rechargeable AA battery's, but this is not the item. The big item is to make it usable for the extended battery life. The positive site would be:

• better for the environment
• rechargeable battery's you only need 2 or max 4 when you go for longer on a trip say 6 day's
• If made possible you can also (with a switch) set it to charge while they in there
• I have got a usb loader, a lot of my friends have that also, it plugs in to a car or mains

After the exercise you than be able to charge the extended device, and not have to worry to find a shop and buying battery's, it saves also time.

Hello Albert,

I think you are misuderstanding my mean.
PCU-2A2 is caple to use both of battery and rechargable battery.
But you can't use it to charge battery. In package, we put 2*AA battery into with free.
