- E-Compass built-in as optional
- Higher resolution display than GH-625 and four gray color

That sounds good, but what I understand now, it is better than the old one. Will it be cheaper as well!

I  am curios if smart trackback is quicker than now, I experienced more times that finishing one trackpoint it takes a bit long to see the next. I had several times that it showed the next point just to late, so I did past the turn of. The good thing is you always can get on the right track again by skipping a series of trackpoints, only that was then not the planed route.

Yesterday I joint the Giro Italia this was a route over 130 km just for tour cyclist, more than 5000 people did join. We (our club) did designed the route.
Nice to be on the road with police in front and no stops for traffic lights etc.

I think the restriction came from the resource of MCU.
We decided more powerful MCU instead of current, so it should be no problem.
We would like to make it more economical to let more people to experience our product.
Not likes Garmin always locate so high price. What do you think?

I do not think this is "Off Topic" any more, but the optional electronical compass and enhanced battery life sounds like you planed to make the device more "outdoor compatible".
Please do not forget the UTM-format entry issue than (see other threads), if the target group is also hikers, not just for training...

Very interesting! A watch with improved features at a lower price will be very competitive. I saw that the new Garmin FR 110 also uses the SirF StarIV but it has very few functions and is too simple for a "real" runner!

Your explanation about the new SirF StarIV is interesting. I hope the software is now looking at the positions of the available satellites, and taking if possible a few satellites that are lower in the ark so altitude becomes more reliable. Can you tell if that is a possibility? When do you expect the new one to come out? My GH625 is mounted on the steering and it works excellent, so it can be used as bicycle computer as well, only I am missing some functions on it, what we already discussed. (totals, slope and sensors)
   
I have a word with the local shop again soon to see if he wants to order your product, but when is the bicycle computer ready?

We will keep GH625 orginal supervious features as well as put more interesting functions inside.

I am not sure it is helpful for altitude.
But Sirf IV is using prediction scenario to improve the TTFF. So it just needs only few satellite to get fix. And it also improve the power consumption.
The watch design concept is keep similar as GH-625.
