I had some communication problems with the GH-505 but now they seem to be fixed, anyhow it would be good to hear feedback from the other testers.

Sorry that I respond , but I work a lot with OSM and there is a Cycle or street map on there. It is at least very detailed and in some cases there is more information like Cycle paths on there then on all others. So if you thinking of using a map related software for the GPS device this is the one to go for if possible of course.

Sorry that I respond , but I work a lot with OSM and there is a Cycle or street map on there. Hello Phil,

I have problems with the Plugin v0.4.
The connection with GH-505 seems to be disturbed. First it takes a long time th get the connection. Weater soprtracs nothe GH-505 are reacting. Sometimes after a while the download starts but breaks without fininshing.
An other time it works.
With Training Gym Pro 1.2.5 I have no problems.
I am using WIN XP with SP3

What can I do?

Hello again,

it seems to be a problem with WIN XP. On my other machine with Vista it works fine.
On the XP-machine it also takes a long time until Sporttracks is loaded. I think it didnīt has to do with the plugin v0.4 itself.

Hi Longjog,

Yeah, that's probably related to your computer or drivers.
Anyway, the download of data from the watch is performed by the "oficial" import plugin from the SportTracks author. Mine does the oposite uploading tracks and manages waypoints.

It takes some time to make te connection because it needs to detect the which device is connected (GH-625, GH-505, GH-561), but that's only the first time, after that it will be faster.


@nadaespecial: I didn't test it yet, but if someone already has it, go ahead and post your results.

I can't get your plugin to work with ST3 - and I really miss it in my ST3. As far as I can see, ST3 doesn't have a specific plugin directory.

Are you aware of a installation-method for ST3?

Yes I found the same problem, but I asked the ST3 people but no reaction yet. It could be that it is not registered, so only 2 plugins are available. But what is the extra value in respect with ST2. I did not see extra need in version 3, only they stop supporting ST3 so probably we get cornered here, to go over to ST3  .

The sense of ST3 is, that zone five software now can earn money with it.
I was never a fan of ST, because its closed source. Now i will give pytrainer (http://sourceforge.net/projects/pytrainer/) a try.
