Hi,

I have bought the bu-303 USB GPS reciever and cant get the OS(windows7 64bit) to see it I have installed the drivers but the device manager is still not showing it as working - still an unknown device. any suggestions??

Hi,
That driver installed com 8 on the machine but the GPS dongle still does not have a driver that works, it is still showing up as a base device in the device manager with no driver associated to it, and wont work. when I scaned com ports origionaly the GPS info program saw com1 only with no device, with the patch it cant see any com ports
please advies if you can

Hello Craig,

Right click on the GPS Info Icon > Properties > Compatibility > and check the box "Run this program as an administrator" and push OK.

Then open GPS Info, and you should be able to see the COM ports
