Here is the link for the MiniCDU utility with the Baud Rate change capability.

http://www.usglobalsat.com/ND100_MiniCDU-v1.03.zip

Included in the zip file is the user manual which provides instructions on how to change your baud rate.

Currently, this will work on a Windows computer with any ND-100.

Yes I have.
I didnt want to use Mincdu only.

When entering Mincdu each time information displayed says com1 9600 baud. If I change to 38400 com4 and connect. Information is displayed. Woks great but: when in Win Streets and Trips 2010, after setting to 4800 baud and com 4 as per suggestion I get message of: Gps receiver is sending messages but tey are not being recognized as NMEA 2.0-compatible. Make sure info is Nmea compatible and baud rate is set to 4800.

Please help
thanks

Try plugging in the ND-100 to a different USB port. Open the Device Manager and check under Ports. Look for the 'Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port (COM_ _)' and remember that com port number. Open Streets and Trips 2010. Go to Tools > Configure the GPS Receiver > Choose the com port > Click Ok. Next, go to Tools > Start GPS Tracking. It will display your present location.

Let me know how it goes.

I wish  it would. I have tried all 3 ports. Made sure baud rate  was set to 4800 and on each try, and port was numbered correctly.

Problem solved. After installing Streets and trips in two computers and trying to change baud rate on both units, with AutoFWUpdate_ND100_V1.1 in excess of 20 times, I finally got FW to change baud rate, to 4800. S &T works well now.

Thank to all who looked and especially those who help correct my problem.

To anyone who is having a problem on how to manually set the baud rate of the ND-100, please follow the instructions below:

1. Open up the Minicdu program. Go to Mode > Setup COM Port > Select the corresponding com port and baud rate > Click Ok.
2. Press 'Connect'.
3. Go to Command > SetBaudRate. A 'Baud Rate Setting' window will pop-up. Choose the desired baud rate and click Ok.
4. Close the Minicdu program.
