Data transferring stop working
« on: January 21, 2010, 06:12:33 pm »

Hi,

I have GH-615M and it was worked fine one year until today. Today I tried transfer my trainings to ST I got message that connection to device is not working. I tried also with training gym without success.

What else I have tried so far.
-Tried another usb ports
-Reinstalled usb ports
-Tried with another pc which was used earlier and there was also TG and ST installed
-Reset factory settings.

None of those correct connection problem, so I think that problem could be USB cable. Local dealer where I bought device one year ago it is not anymore.

So, can you help me some how to get my device working again?

Hi Rookie,

It perhpas your cable is damaged.
You can double check does com port found when plug calbe into PC.
Also check does the metal pin fall off from DIN4 connector? And then repair by yourself.
If still doesn't work, maybe need to purchase new cable from dealer.

Sincerely,

Geoffrey :)

Device manager found cable when I plug it but softwares can't see device behind cable.

Problem is that I can't find dealer where I could purchese or even better perhaps test cable before purchace.

Hi G,

I checked cable with ohm meter and noticed that all pins were not ok. Should all wires be connected in usb cable (black-green-white-red) or just part of them?

Hi Rooki,

Yes, they all should be wired on USB.
