I just saw the video site on your home page and I want to tell you, that I like this idea
very much !  I think, this can be a very good way, to show new customers what they
are going to buy and how easy (or complicated ?) the devices can be used and which
functions and highlights they offer.
So, I think this is a really good idea and I would have had this for many other products !

I'm an owner of a GH-625 and so I watched this video more in detail.
And I'm sorry to say, that I'm a little bit disappointed that the video explains only the
most boring functions, like:
* Charging the watch
* Switching HRM on/off
* Setting user profile

These are really functions of absolutely no interest 

It would be much more interesting to show the watch during normal usage !
Why don't you show functions during training, like:
* HRM values (Avg, Max, Now)
* Auto Lap (Lap time)
* Four user pages (different configs)
* Display of total distance (GPS !!)
* Display of Hight, Calories and so on (there are so much !)

Why don't you show functions for navigation, like:
* Map Mode
* Smart Track back (one of the highlights !)
* Back to Start (with remaining distance, time and direction to go)

There are so much functions, which could convince the people to buy it...
...but not those you showed in the video. They are all obvious and everybody will
believe that those things will work - somehow.

So finally - the idea is good ! The details could be optimized. (my personal opinion)

I think, the first thing to know when we are talking about videos, manuals, flyers, or what ever...
is to know the intension of the specific item.
So - I think the KeyMaze link above is an excellent example to be used as user operating instructions.
I like it and will have a more detailed look into it when I have some more time.
But that's exactly the problem: It is very detailed and needs time. This is okay for a user who already
owns the device, but it is too detailed for a person, who thinks about buying the watch.

So - for advertising, I think the videos shown on usglobalsat.com (youtube) are not too long and
they are not too detailed. The quality of video and sound are okay. So, that's okay.
But the functions shown are really boring. I don't believe that there is somebody out there,
who sees the video and thinks:
"Oh, great ! I can enter my age and weight into this watch. And I can charge it via USB !
Wow - never seen this before. I have to hurry to buy one ! "

As I said before: There are other functions much more attractive !

GS has good technical staff, now they need to hire a good product marketeer :-)

Video clips that are meant to sell should highlight the functions & features in a motivating, practical way. People have short spam of attention, so spending so much time telling what's on/in the package is a real turnoff. I believe there is not a single person who bought a GS Products because "the package contains a DVD with manual" - so don't bother telling that in a sales pitch.
