Longjog, Are you starting to sell some globalsat model with your own brand?
Geoffrey mentioned something about T brand device in another thread  ::)

Hi, I'm having some trouble with the replacement of the plastic cover. I do live in europe more specifficly in Portugal and I bougth my gh-625m by one online store (expansys), and it still in the waranty period, so I contact the link that was told in the previous message but they told me that they could help because the watch still was in the waranty. So my question is: isn't that link for an official Globalsat service centre? and if that is why can't they replace (or send-me) the cover?

Thank's

Ah you see I did not know that. Service center is new. So because it's still on warranty you should contact usglobalsat.

Maybe in coming time Longjog service will finally accept product under warranty...

Hello,

warranty end user against the dealer in germany is regulated by law. It is 24 month after selling.
But after 6 month there is a shifting of the burden of proof. User has to prove the defect was there from the beginning.
Globalsat itself has 12 month of warranty, as I know.
In the time of warranty you have to contact the dealer for repairment or maybe the manufactorer itself. Please register your GS-Sport-Product at www.usglobalsat.com

Certainly I can help you with my service also, but I only can do it for free if globalsat advises me to do so.
I have costs for transportation minimum and I only can do this service, because Geoffrey and all the GS-Team is supporting me.  ;)
You can be sure Im doing my very best in order to make a good service to you all. :)

My GS-Sport-Servicecenter is an official servicecenter for GS-Products, but it is not a company of Globalsat.
Im doing this services for you as runner for runners and other sportsman. This is not my mainjob, were Im earning my money with. Im checking and answering mails every day and sending out the parcels, when I come home from work.

A friend of mine has a Garmin 310 XT, not one year old , which felt down and the window was broken. Garmin said the repair is inefficient and offered her a new one for 151 Euro instead of repairing it. I hate throwing things away and buying new one, because a repairment is supposed as inefficient by the manufacturers.
Think of the "blue planet".

Have a nice weekend

Mine recently broke as well.  Is that offer still good to send a replacement?  I'm currently in Thailand and expect to be here for a while.

Thanks!

Hello Jim,

Just to confirm, are you also referring to the USB rubber cover at the back of the device (where you plugin the USB Data Cable)?

If so, please send an email to sales@usglobalsat.com stating how many that you would need, so they could provide you the pricing and availability.
