Thanks, AVG SPD will instead of PACE.
As a runner I want PACE but I assume the fields a configurable like in gh505

BTW, we also plan a wrist strap to wear the device as a watch.
Like this:

or 90degrees turned so the screen is in the right direction?

Image is from http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2009/11/garmin-edge-500-in-depth-review.html thanx canedian for the link to this site.

I like the sceenshots, don't know If I like it for running yet, It seem to be same size as Garmin Edge 500, maybe the formfactor works. Will you be able to reuse the firmware used in gh505 regading the non screen parts so it will have kind of all the features in gh505 ?

Hi Zingo,

It looks interesting. We would tilt it 45 degree not 90 degree, so it will be easier to read.
We plan it is easy to use not so many functions as GH-505.
Any ideas?

Sincerely,

Geoffrey

Hi Zingo,

We almost done firmware design with many innovative features (Of course it can adapted for running ;D): We are developping software at this moment. ;D

- Auto Zoom In/ Out
- Auto Baro calibration
- Temperature showing
- Virtual Trainer
- E-Compass with bearing and declination calibration

Sincerely,

Geoffrey

What do you think on colorful (300euro) and mono color (120 euro) GPS cyclocomputer market? Which one does user really need?

For color:
GPS
ANT 2.4G (HRM, Cadence, Speed)
Barometer
Touchpanel
Topo Map
E-compass

For Mono
GPS
Barometer
ANT (HRM, Cadence, Speed)
E-compass

Hello Geoffrey,

I think both prices are very good, if you want topographic map with ANT and HRM the bundle price of 300,- is competitive. The (small pocket) price for MONO is a market killer. If someone buys this with all the good functions and they like it, it is likely they go later for the more expensive one the COLOR bicycle computer. ;D

Hi Geoffrey!

If you have problems finding testers of the new bike computer ;) I can offer my help ;D - I would like to try it out mountainbiking, in comparison to my GH625M - which I have had a lot of fun with.

Kind regards

Sorry all others to go there also. :(
OK this product is a good idea but the price would be higher in total, also not everyone has a I phone, than you could sell the color one. ;) It needs to be online to see the maps, and if you not near a transmitter bad luck, so don't worry

I think both versions are very wellcome for market!

For me, color version with topo maps would be very very interesting one!  ::) And if it really come with Wifi (and probably with Android OS) it will make it more interesting ;D

And of course, I will be one voluntary to test this as well!  ;)  If samples will be ready soon, it would be possiblel launch test rides in cold conditions as well...

Hello Geoffrey,

I got a question to day, new year reception and cycling 45 km (cold and in de rain)  about when the bicycle computer is planned to come ?
By the way most of the people are more interested in color screen, all do the price is higher. They say you not buying them every day and when the support is good they don't mind to pay a bit more. ;)
There are more people (luckily) interested in your product than I thought. I show them always how good the product is and more important the support. ;D They are Impressed and willing to wait till it is ready. Go on making nice things. Maybe in the near future I am be able to convince the local bicycle shop.

Albert
