Our company purchased around 20 of these devices without bothering to check with the IT DEPT that they would actually work. In testing one of these devices using a Windows 7 32 bit laptop I'm afraid the news so far is quite bleak.

1. The device will not show up in bluetooth connections.
2. The laptop does not like the drivers provided either on the CD or on this website.

With regards to 1:
Bluetooth on the laptop is working, other devices are detected. The bluetooth light on the GPS is flashing as expected and the device has a full battery charge. But it never shows up.

With regards to 2:
I have installed the USB drivers from this website (the ALL in one job) but Windows 7 complains the drivers have an issue and to replace the device (STD windows error message).

Basically this device is EPIC FAIL. Does anyone have any advice before I send them all back.

The BT-368i communicates with a host device (such as a PDA, Laptop, or Smartphone) using Bluetooth® 2.0 Serial Port Profile (SPP) technology  and with a powerful built-in antenna, it still remains compact enough to provide impressive accuracy even while driving among downtown high-rises, or hiking under dense foliage without the need for an external antenna. The built-in, rechargeable Li-Ion battery provides up to 10-hours of continuous use from a full charge and with the auto-shut off feature, battery life is extended turning off the GPS when no Bluetooth connectivity with the host is available.

Is the problem resolved? I ask this question because I plan to buy a GPS receiver to connect with the MapPoint 2011 on a Windows 7 laptop.

Basically, the BT-368 would work with Windows 7. First, you need to check if your computer is Bluetoth enabled, or you're using a bluetooth dongle like this (http://www.usglobalsat.com/p-580-bta-806-bluetooth-dongle.aspx). If you want to use the BT-368 as a USB type of receiver, you would need to install the driver if you have a USB Data Cable (http://www.usglobalsat.com/p-550-bt368i-usb-data-cable.aspx), which is an optional accessory (separately purchased).

Regarding the software, you need to check with the manufacturer if it's NMEA-compliant since most of our GPS Receivers would work with it.
