Turn off Static Navigation on BT-821?
« on: August 24, 2010, 11:06:23 am »

Does anyone know if there is a way to turn off static navigation on my BT-821?  The reason I bought this GPSr was because the built in one in my phone (QualCOMM GPSOne) had Static Navigation that drove me crazy when Geocaching.  The BT-821 is much better, but still has the Static Navigation 'feature' enabled.  Alegidly you can turn off SN on the SiRFIII Chipset, but I can't figure out how.

No, it has the SiRF III Chipset. Please refer to this datasheet for more information: (http://www.usglobalsat.com/store/download/43/bt821_ds_ug.pdf). Also, check out this page: http://www.usglobalsat.com/corp/p-43-bt-821.aspx
