How to remove odd log readings
« on: September 04, 2010, 02:57:47 pm »

Hi there
I want to remove odd reading from a log (route + heart rate).
I can do that in ST3 in a "not so friendly" way (mark the point in the Heart rate or altitude graph, locate it in the route window, choosing edit in the route window, mark the point and delete it) but couldn't find a way to do that in training Gym.
Did I miss something?

Hello Dotank,

I don't think you missed something, The only possibility is to smooth the graphs.
You can however delete the whole workout by right mouse button and chose delete in the right window.

OK, so how can I drop a request to have deletion option in future versions?
After all the table is there so deletion shouldn't be such a big issue.

I Sporttracks you can Split a training, I dont know if you can merge the trainings again. But if that is possible you can split it out into
1.start->just before errro
2. error
3. just after error -> end

Then delete 2 and merge/join 1&3

Another way (the one I uses) is to export to fitlog or gpx file, then open the file in an text editor and remove the points or "merge/join" by hand. XML files are not so hard to understand, the hardest part can be to find the "broken" part.

Brings it up again, in the hope they don't forget the GH625 users. ;)
