Hello, can somebody help me ?
I tried to upgrade my watch to the latest firmawre but that did not goes right.
The first try it goes up to 23%, I retry, it halts at 10%.
After a few try I reach 70% and then it stay at 0% after erasing. And finally the black screen.
I tried the UP, ENTER, POWER but nothing
After a night charging, still nothing.
The virtual com did not appear under Windows, and the screen of the watch is black.
Did I must press the 3 buttons simultanously or one after the other?
This must be done when the USB cable is connected or not ?
How long must I press the buttons ?

Hi Dardard,

Just press pwr+down+ent for few seconds and it will enter to update mode.
And then plug cable to device and computer to update firmware.
Please ensure device still has energy first.

How do I know that there is enough energy as there is nothing on the display.
Is the watch able to recharge the battery by USB as the firmware is down ?
When the boot mode is active, what should append : something on screen, like when doing update or just detection of the virtual com port by Windows ?

Hi Dardard,

Just plug cable to charge device for a while, the hardware charging circuit still is alive even can't power on.
When boot mode is actived, the device will show as update firmware page. The com port will be able to detected.

OK, everything is now in order.
The strategy of the key to enter boot mode is good, as well as the separtation of boot and application software in separate areas.
The problem is that it is not easy to handle correctly all the keys and keep them pressed enough time to enter boot mode.
In older products we were used to find a reset button hidden on the backside, but it is not clever for a water resistant device.
And finally I do not remenber wich combination worked if it was up or down. I tried both, one of them worked and the download goes to is end.
So I can continue with the testings.

Previously in my case I ever get anything on display when pressing key combination to allow boot mode. I don't know what was situation on GS when they try it after I sent watch back to them for repair?

Maybe in some case display can stay blank even boot mode is activated successfully?

Hi Rookie,

It sounds your watch still didn't work.
Per my experience, the combintion is not easy to awake boot mode due to poor button feeling to make wrong sequent.
For we will check that if you would send back.

Per my experience, the combintion is not easy to awake boot mode due to poor button feeling to make wrong sequent.
For we will check that if you would send back.

No, my watch work fine after you repaired it last time. And is still in daily use. 
I just mean, that maybe in some situation it could be so, that display not work and you don't know when you are in boot mode after pressing key combination.

At least I didn't see anything on display when I tried to repair it by myself. But you was able to recover it succesfully.

Hi Rookie,

It is recommended asking for support to service center first to reduce the reduntant procedure.
We also welcome to serve you if any problems.
In case dispay is blank but system was actived, you should be able to hear "beep" sound.
