GlobalSync utility for Mac / BT-335
« on: November 05, 2010, 05:05:34 am »

I was able to connect and configure the BT-335 from my Mac (OS 10.5.8) only one time. Now visiting Paris, and can not connect again to download or configure. The BT-335 shows as being paired and if I choose to "show more info" then "update device services" it shows as connected, but the blinking indicator light does not change to a rapid blink.
When clicking the Configure button in the utility it reads "receiving configuration.." and the blinking indicator goes into rapid mode but, the receiving mode does not complete and no data ever displays. Download button fails in the same way.

Can anyone provide step-by-step on using the GlobalSync utility for Mac and the settings to make in the Mac OS Bluetooth preference panels.

Please check your email for the instructions on how to use GlobalSync.

If that program still did not work, please utilize a program called GPSBabel. You can download it from here: http://www.gpsbabel.org/download.html#downloading

Let me know how it goes.

Regulations are fully GlobalSync menu. You can easily customize all input parameters to your specifications, the GPS / Logger models, height, date, time, altitude, speed, control and recording intervals. Integrating the memory just by taking the guesswork out of use of working memory.

Hi, I also need step-by-step directions on how to use GlobalSync to get my BT-335 to work with my Max OS X 10.5.8.  The software disk that came with by BT-335 does not work - my computer views the .exe file as a movie so files do not open and I've been unable to configure the BT-335 from my max.  Also, will I also need to use Routebuddy?  Can't figure out how to get my mac and BT-335 to work together.  Please help!

You can download the the GlobalSync Utility here: (http://www.usglobalsat.com/store/download/44/globalsync.zip). Please check your email for the instructions. As for the RouteBuddy, you can download the free demo: http://www.routebuddy.com/routebuddy/download/index.html

One more thing, can you register your product and generate a support ticket? We recommend that you visit our website (https://www.usglobalsat.com/signin.aspx?ReturnURL=/support/) to register your product and generate a "Support Ticket" within our system.

I am using os x 10.7 .  Can you email me the detailed instructions as I appear to be totally lost..

I was able to pair with the BT-335 from the Mac, but the utility kept trying to receive Configuration and just kept in that state.  Not much use if I cannot get it configured.

Thanks.
