If you're unable to install or remove the driver from the list of programs, you can utilize a program called CCleaner. For download, please click here: (http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/download/3a3e44d3c4dbe3b50634a122bf7000d6/). When it's done, install the application and please follow the instructions below:

1.) Open up the CCleaner.
2.) Go To Tools.
3.) Select the PL-2303 USB-to-Serial from list of the Programs to Remove. Click Delete Entry.
4.) It will ask you to proceed with the Uninstall process. Press OK.
5.) The driver is completely removed.
