Hello,

please explain once again how to save the training data from the older version. The posting in the old forum is deleated and i not want to loos mey training-data when I install the new version 1.8.

Dear Dauerläufer

Here is some tips to keep your historical training database to get better performance;

1). Backup the database from C:\Program Files\GlobalSat
Technology\GS-Sport Training Gym\MySQL\data before you un-installing the GS-Sport Training Gym.

(2). After new GS-Sport Training Gym uninstall/ installing accomplished, try to input "net stop mysql1" (Ver 1.8 or above no need to input)at COMMAND MODE to stop SQL services.

(3). Copy and overwrite the database back to the corresponding folder.

About more information, I posted on child board of GH-615, you may see them.
BTW, I remember your a super runner, if possible, could you post your idea about distance or speed calculation again, so that we can discuss then improve.

Hi Geoffrey,
I hoped the new firmware coming soon would have the pace improved.
My idea was to take the last 500 metres minimum for the speed or pace-calculation.
Maybe it is possible to make a selection for 500 or 1000 metres for the calculation, so shown pace will be more sensitive.
The slower you run the longer the distance for calculation has to be for exact pace.
I hope my english is good enough you´ll understand me.

Thanks for your information. Of course I understand what you mean.
How do you think the distance for calculation was manually set by user or auto ? or auto set by sport type?
