  Hello to all.
I'm going N&%#!@!@$% with this problem:   

Everything was OK with my GS3212 Car navigator until I set it to start the Navigator option automatically when I turn it on.
Since then every time I turn it on it initializes and then goes to the navigator immediately only to crash and turn itself off.
I restarted it with the reset button and it doesn't help.
 My computer won't recognize it because it wont stay on enough time to install the drivers, both the ones in the navigator (I suppose) and the ones I downloaded from the Global Sat web site.

Were you able to see any error messages before it crash?
How about the battery? Is it fully charged?
Did you see any light in the Power LED ?

Also, where did you bought this device? What is the date of purchase?

Thanks for the Help.
My unit has never shown an error message. The battery shows it's fully charged, I can read that in the screen before it turns itself off, and when I connect it to my computer it charges Ok and the little LED indicator shows yellow when charging and green when full charged with no problems. It reacts almost like it's missing something, as if it was programed to shut itself off, not really like crashing due to a system failure.

 The date of purchase it about a month ago. I bought it online, new, from "Mercado Libre", the Mexican e-bay equivalent. it was in a closed box with all it's components. I don't think I can claim warranty. For what it's worth; I'm in Mexico but I'm American .
Too bad! I really liked the device in the brief time I used it.

It seems that you're device is defective. Perhaps, you could check their Return Policy and see whether if you could ask for a replacement. Hope it will work out for you.

 I think I must face the grim reality;  it's defective!
