Hello!

Here's the new version of my plugin adding support to GH-580. (Export tracks, waypoints, config, etc)

http://www.mediafire.com/?0yfjk7fpn81mhvc

This is only for ST 2.1, which is the version I use.

Zingo, let me know if you want to update your 3.0 version your and I can send you the modified code.

Regards
Phil

Hi Phil,

I did try your plug-in for the 2.1 but it thus not show up the GB580. I installed it with running it and came back with successfully installed, and I copied it to the map plug-ins from st 2.1.
I found out after a conversation with Phil, that sending information to the GB580 is working OK with .gpx, also quick and with distance etc. Tanks Phil.
TG is also writing to the GB580 with .kml, but then you don't see the distance or anything else after uploading.

Regards, Albert

Hey Zingo,
That's good news!
Sorry, I completely forgot to send you the code with GB580 updates. I'll send it in a while.

About Globalsat-Waypoints (Phil's plugin):
I have borrowed Zingo's 505 and have participated some. The primary focus is to get a plugin working as Phil's plugin, with fixing more than breaking.
The map code is changed quite a lot in ST3, it is drag&drop that is still not working.

However, I would like to split the Waypoints GUI code and the Globalsat device handling in separate plugins. The best would in my opinion to get all Globalsat device handling in the Zone Five Software open source Globalsat plugin (even if not all changes have been released for a while...) Zone Five Software has not responded yet (it will not be much for them to do other than updating to latest and accepting patches).

Splitting GUI-device would also make it possible to use old_man_biking's excellent Waypoints&Courses plugin, a commercial plugin that has much more features than the Globalsat-Waypoints plugin will ever get. old_man_biking is open to that if there is enough interest. So, what do you say?
