Hi Geoffrey,

well done, but please check the diagram. After switching fom speed km/h to pace min/km the pace of my running-activities in the diagram is to fast (1-2 min/km).
Maybe it is a good idea to implement a filter to cut off the peaks.

I do like your support, great.

I miss avg slope in the totals and it would be nice to have on every mountain the slope angle if you point on the diagram.
KML download to the GB580 works fine, it is a bit more work but OK.

Do you mean that to implement a filter as we done in current PC Software? It is doable.
The peaks of pace were caused by the calculation formula that inverse of speed.

Now we are working on GPX compatibility improvement.
I am curious how to come out average slope? Is (last ALT - first ALT)/total DIST ?

I don't think that this formula will give the avg slope. If you start and end at the same altitude average slope will be zero! - I think that avg. slope should be calculated in this way: Every time the slope is calculated as implemented in the device now, this should be summerarized in a temporary variable (tmpSlope), and a counter (cntSlope) should be incremented by one. Then when the trip has ended - the avg slope can be found as tmpslope/cntSlope. Will this work?

Hello All,

Sorry I was not precise enough, if you did climb a mountain it is nice to know the max slope and the avg slope only of that mountain so if ALT is increasing you count until ALT is decreasing. [[ALT (end)-ALT(start)]/ distance] this only for in the TG software. ALT MAX is over the total distance from one ride and can be done in GB580P and carried over to TG.

Wishlist for TG:
 
1. How far are you with gpx compatibility? I know it was OK in February 2011 the version I don't know.
2. Total km in TG (this should be possible in a Totals pull down menu)
3. Total High meters
4. Total avg
5. Better name giving for the activities, better than the date
6. search for existing data and pointing to it (now I can load files many times with the same track without warning of already existing).
7. A tool to create tracks and edit ( so no way points) 
8. Better and complete KML or GPX when loading in TG from file pulldown menu (now it is without speed, distance etc.) only date is available now.
