Hi I managed to start the ST again (donk ask me what I have done. It works now), uninstalled the plugin 3.2.94, closed ST, doubleclick in plugin Version  3.2.105. Message success installing the plugin but after running ST agaun, the plugin doesnīt appear in the plugin-list.
With version 3.2.94 the same.

In Settings->Plugins, you probably see "Globalsat Device Plugin" (the updated 3.2 versions) or "Zonefivesoftware Globalsat Device Plugin".
The updated plugin has some setting pages too (visible under Plugins).
You probably have one of the plugins installed.

It is likely that the duplicate plugin files is causing the problems.
Check the ST log: Settings->System
Likely shows that a plugin dll cannot be loaded.

The source of the problem is that the files me and Zingo based the plugin update on likely was not the version used or that a manual process were used to create plugin packages. The GUID identifies the plugin to ST. The dll itself also has a GUID that normally is the same as the ST plugin GUID, but in this case was not the same. (The ST update indicated that they were same.) I used the dll GUID, first when installing the 3.0 version, I saw the problem.

Another update, regarding pause handling. The device does not record where a pause occurs and it includes the distance while paused. A special case is resetting when connecting to a PC.

 The plugin tries to insert paused time to compensate. Some info in the plugin documentation:

it seems Iīve found the reason for the error-message.
After deleting the folder "zh" in the plugin-directory Installed/fb88d87e-5bea-4b70-892a-b97530108cfb (Globalsat DevicePlugin 3.2.113) the error message didnīt appear anymore.

Hi,

same problem here.
Seems it has to do with uninstalling previous plugin. Sporttracks starts but then it closes automatically and the long error-message window appears.


The problem appears after uninstalling the old plugin without installing the new plugin. I canīt solve it by installing  the new plugin or the previous plugin.
Hope this helps to find the problem.

I still cannot reproduce though. Chinese translation has been in ST since 2.0 I believe, nothing new.
The workaround described below should still apply - except that you should delete both directories before reinstalling.

I have tested a number of upgrade combinations but cannot recreate the problem.
The error message is from ST when loading, I cannot say what is wrong.

 * Install the 3.2.x plugin normally.
 * If the plugin version for Globalsat device plugin is not the installed version (i.e. 3.2.12), try uninstall it.
 * If there is an error message when uninstallling, the plugin must be uninstalled manually.
    Close ST, then delete the plugin directories. The directory is located in the ST plugin directory.
    The 3.2.12 version has name "9d20cac2-3c37-4224-810a-366bc17ccda7", the other version is "fb88d87e-5bea-4b70-892a-b97530108cfb". Delete both.

    For Vista/Win7, type in search box: %PROGRAMDATA%\ZoneFiveSoftware\SportTracks\3\Plugins\Installed

 * Reinstall the plugin

I've got an error using the last Training Pro Gym release. When passing the cursor on the google map i've got a javascript error.
I use windows 7 64 bits.

It is easy to correct. Please see instructions here:
Go in the googlemap template file in your Training gym program file.

and modify that specific line:

Me and zingo would like to make official releases of the ST plugins "Globalsat Device" and "(Globalsat) Waypoints" adding to the ST plugin catalog.
We believe that there has been too few confirmations of the functionality. I use the GH-625XT and GH-505 on Win Vista, Zingo 625XT and 625M on Linux (using mono), but there are more combinations. GB-580 has seen some testing.

Therefore, we would like to some test reports of what you have tested before adding as the default version.
There may of course be updates after initial addition, but it is good to have some info of what are working for others.

So we would like to have test reports with the following info:
  Device
  Windows version (or emulation) and language, or mono version and platform
  SportTracks (should be 3.1.4415), language
  What that has been tested

There are some things not exactly as they should:
 * GH-561 support (waypoints)
 * Send activities to GB-580P is not working

Fixed issues from earlier releases
 * GetScreenshot for 625M does not seem to work.
 * Improved messages for unconnected devices and improved popups for incompatible actions (like SendRoute to 625M).
 * Image for 625XT, GS-Sport should be updated

Test suggestions:
 * Detect Device. (Settings->Plugin->Globalsat Device Plugin, press Refresh)
 * Import activities. Use both the GS-Sport device and the specific device. If possible, explore the specific import features.
 * Export ST activity as activity to device. See the Navigation section for instructions (including limiting points).
 * Export ST activity as route
 * Send/receive wayponts. Use the Activity page Waypoints to create, send and receive waypoints.
 * Screenshots (Settings->Plugin->Globalsat Device Plugin->Screen Capture, press Refresh)
 * Configuration (Settings->Plugin->Globalsat Device Plugin->Device Configuration) Export configuration to file, change something on the device, import and check that the change is reversed.

same problem as Longjog above but can't find installdirectories.
I just clicked on the plugins without having ST running. Got the message "plugin installed but when I run ST it complains about culture zh.

i had the deviceplugin 3.2.12 before but not the waypointplugin.
i installed newest versions of both deviceplugin 3.2.129 and waypoints0.5.108 Also upgraded to newest sporttracks. 3.1.4415 I think. I use english language.

I have same issue.

ST 3.1.4415 Finish language
Windows XP with sp3 English
Previous version 3.2.12 installed. But after removing old plugin, it still is visible in plugins of ST !?!?!
Also after installing new plugin it is not appear in plugins of ST. Under windows user profile this new plugin folder (fb88d87e-5bea-4b70-892a-b97530108cfb) seems be correctly installed.

Could this be something that old version is not fully uninstalled?

This problem is probably caused by the packaging problem in the first builds.

This is not expected to occur for normal users, just the lucky users that had early access to the 625XT. It came with a price...
New build up, for 625M screenshot and 561 waypoints support. zingo has been debugging.

Updated with improved error messages if for instance device is turned on but not connected to PC.
Updates earlier this week included GetScreenshot for 625M and 561 support.
Requires updates of both Globalsat device and Waypoints plugin.
