"Paired but not connected" message with AT 100 (Thrive)

Using an AT100 Thrive tablet.  Have tried several add on apps to act as an interface and still recieve the same message.  I do not get this message with other bluetooth devices and the tablet (keyboard, phone).
Thoughts?

Perhaps, it means that the BT-359 is successfully paired with your tablet, but it's not connected to any navigation/mapping software.

If AT100 Thrive table has an Android OS, you can possibly refer to this forum posting to try the Android version of the GPSInfo: http://www.usglobalsat.com/forum/index.php?topic=4031.0

thanks.  That is the app I was using to try and connect.  It appears the BT-359 will link (starts flashing faster and doesn't time out), but the Thrive still won't show it as connected.  This results in a NO GPS message on any navigation app that is being used.  Still trying to work on this one...haven't received any support from Toshiba either....

Just as an aside, can the cable provide a direct link for GPS to the tablet as in other BT products Globalsat provides?

Just a couple of questions:
Were you able to successfully connect and make it work with the GPSInfo? You should be able to see further instructions on the provided link.
Have you tried unpairing the BT-359 from the tablet? Then, turn off the unit, take out the battery and put it back, wait for a few seconds, and turn it on? Afterwards, pair it up again?
Did it ask you to enter a passcode? Were you able to input '0000'?

You mean the USB Cable that came with the device? Apparently, it's mainly used to charge the BT-359 and it can only be connected via Bluetooth.

Only the BT-368, one of our BT GPS Receivers, is able to be connected via USB and Bluetooth. For more details regarding USB connection, please refer to this forum posting: http://www.usglobalsat.com/forum/index.php?topic=3344.msg8477#msg8477
