Where can I buy extra mounts for multiple bikes and also the wrist strap adapter?
I'm in the US(California)

Also, will the firmware be updated to support power devices?

What do you mean by wrist strap adapter? Please see the package contents of the two versions of our GB-580:

In old messages, gs-sport has released a wrist strap for g580. Geoffrey has asked if it was a good idea to include in package. Albert and I strongly agreed.

Maybe at least sell it as a low price accessories.

By the way I received an email about one month and half or two months ago from a new member in the forum.

This person was asking me if the strap was available in package and he told me that this was the reason he would buy or not gb580 instead of another brand.

My beta testing gps computer packaging had it but I think there is no way to get it into packaging now even if they are some members that have request it.

But they are still some chances I can be wrong. My first contact into gs-sport left the company recently, so to have the right answer you should contact directly one of the Tech on the forum. There might be a way to get it as I have one myself and find it very useful...



Hello there, I was reasearching about bicycle computers and I found the GB-580P where I am about to buy it in a website, but then i saw this forum and I wanted to ask if the product comes also with a wrist band? Or you purchased it separately, thats the only thing thats keeps me from buying it right now.

Thanks Canadien, that's exactly the strap I was talking about.

As for the bike mounts, are they compatible with the garmin 205/305/705 bike mounts? they look very similar:

Some of the manuals for the 580P state it will support ANT+ power devices like the powertap or quarq, but some do not. The Timex cycle trainer 2.0, which is I believe the same unit, does support power meters.

For bike mounts of the GB-580P, you could possibly send an email to sales@usglobalsat.com in order to get pricing and availability.

Garmin bike mount does not seem compatible as the slots are narrower on GB devices.

GB580P, GB580F (not GB580B) are compatible with ant+ HR, speed, cadence and Power Meters.

I don't own and use this accessories but it is in the menu of GB580P although not in the user manual (only in quick start guide).

Probably because it was copy from first beta firmware.

It should be added in the user Manual:

Sensors-> HR, Speed, Cadence, Speed/Cadence combo, Power Meters

Hello All,

Regarding the wrist strap, our engineers see that it is a growing demand. However, since it's not a standard accessory, they would require an MOQ of 1000 pieces to be able to produce this.

For now, the wrist strap would not be available for purchase. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding.
