It does, but unfortunately many customers doesnīt know where they can buy the Globalsat-products in Europe.
Im sure if GS would have a better distribution-network and make a little advertising in magzines they would become a popular player.

GS has delivered the first GB-580īs with a wrist-strap, but I think, now it isnīt in the package anymore. Caron, do you know anything about this?

Welcome to the forum! You can use it for running, but, keep in mind that the GB-580P Bike Computer is optimized for biking. If you want a specific device meant for running, please take a look at the GH-625XT (http://www.usglobalsat.com/p-690-gh-625xt-gs-sport-watch.aspx).

Regarding this delivery, I don't exactly remember if the first batch was sold to a specific customer or included for an ODM project.

Here in USGlobalSat, the wriststrap is not included in the GB-580P and GB-580F package since it's not one of our standard items. Thanks.

I just ordered the GB 580p from dx.com. I wonder if you have any users in India or will I be the first. Anyways, if this turns out as good as I am expecting it to be I promise you there will be a lot more people who will be keen on buying this here. However the only dealer in India is selling it for a lot higher price than I bought it for. So I was forced to buy it online. I will probably get the shipment in the next 4-5 weeks.

I ordered the GB 580P from here:

The item description clearly mentions that this has a Heart Rate Monitor. It is even shown in the item pictures. But I remember reading somewhere that the GB 580P doesn't have a Heart rate Monitor transmitter. So should I be worried about getting a Bike computer without an HRM?

Don't worry. All sensors (speed, cadense and HRM belt) are included in GP-580P release.

Just for your reference, if you are going to purchase directly from us or from one of our authorized resellers, you will have two options: GB-580P and GB-580F. If you're going to purchase the GB-580P from a non-authorized reseller, I believe, the HRM is included in the package. But, please confirm with them just to make sure. Thanks.
