I know I could read the manual but I never really learn...can someone tell me the difference of the words in the headline?
I'm now up to plan courses before I go out running and trying to get it going. My favourite trailmaker is runningahead that albert or hubert tipped about but can't export from there. Therefore now using gpsies and then export to computer, from there to stg and then up to watch. A little cumbrious but the routemaker in stg doesn't follow roads and trails. Does someone have a better solution or a suggestion of how to upload with sporttracks 3.1?

There is an attempt to explain the difference in the Globalsat device plugin, with a link to ST FAQ:

"Create Route" in ST (should be "Create GPS Track for Activity") can follow roads, but for trails you need to use an existing activity or draw yourself.
