It would be nice that in activity info we can see the total accumulated altitude from the route.

Or that the user can select which info want to see at this screen.

When you plan to publish new firmware and the cloud application?

Thanks

Just a few points:

It would be good to be able to choose time of day as one of the selectable fields (or perhaps in a small font at the top of the display where 4 or fewer windows are selected).
Would it be possible to have a field that shows which HR zone the rider is in?
The time and date sporadically return to the default (I believe it's midnight on 1/1/2009 GMT)when the computer has been turned off. It returns to the correct time one a GPS signal is received, but if I start recording my ride before it does, the data can be corrupted.
There appears to be ample room to display bigger fonts in the small data display fields.
+1 for getting rid of unnecessary "significant figures" such as 100ths of a degree Celcius.
Great computer though!

Hello ten B,

Welcome to the forums! Thanks for your suggestion.

What do you mean by having a field that shows which HR zone the rider is in? Are you possibly referring to be able to view your Heart Rate (Main Menu > Configuration > Page Setting > Set Page 1 > HR)?
If not, can you please further explain and provide more details on this?

Hello USG_tech10,

I think that he/she wants to be able to have it on the user page so instead of e.g. 120 bpm you would see zone 2 until the bpm go's up so much that it shows zone 3 etc.

Albert

Got it. Thanks for clearing that up, Albert.

I will share this with our engineers as well.

Hi,
Thanks Albert - that's exactly what I meant (and I'm a he :) And the ability to program the specific HR (and Power) training zones (5 zones should be sufficient for most, I think) would be essential for this to be useful.

Hello ten B,

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but there's a function in the Heart Rate Setting where you're able to customized the zones. You can do this by going to Main Menu > Configuration > Accessories > Cardio Set > Zones. Select Custom and you can modify the heart rate zones. For more info on this, please refer to its User Manual (http://www.usglobalsat.com/store/download/678/gb580_user_manual.pdf) on page 36.

But question is show this zone in data field. Eg. You are currently in zone: 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5

So, just to confirm, the device does not show the specific or proper zone you're in?

Yes, that's correct. You cannot choose to display a heartrate zone field. And it appears that when I don't have a GPS signal when I start to record a ride, it often sets the ride date to 15 February 2009.

I'm missing two features (or maybe I can't find them):
  • yearly overall distance (the number of m/km) covered with a bike
  • overall distance of a days trip (I know this can be achieved with auto start and lap times, but It's cumbersome. I would simply like to measure two things - the overall distance of the day (auto start stop) and the training distance (manuall start stop)

This are two things which seem every cycling computer has had since the early days, but is somehow missing here.

Hello Drejc,

The first is one I asked for a long time a go, and i am hoping it will come with the next update.

The second is more difficult because if you have set the device on auto start stop it will do so.
This makes it not possible to do it manual, but if you press pause before the bike stands still it gives you pause, later you have to press the top right button to start again. One nice thing is the function that if you start a Trackback it starts automatic.

Actually it could have all of it: an auto start / stop overall distance of the daily track plus the already available track distance and lap times inside the recorded distance.

Nevertheless an overall yearly ride distance is something the cheapest of cycling computers have since the 90'.
