Does the ER-411 have a SuperCap or not?
« on: June 12, 2012, 12:01:04 pm »

Hi,

On Page 2 of the User Guide for the ER-411 GPS Module listed here:
http://www.usglobalsat.com/store/download/541/er411_ug.pdf
It says, "Built-in SuperCap to maintain system data for rapid satellite acquisition"

However, on the GPS Engine Board comparison page here:
http://www.usglobalsat.com/store/engineboard_comparison/engineboard_comp.html
it says, "Gold Capacitor Back-Up (Hours): N/A" for the ER-411.

So which is it? Does it have a SuperCap or not? Let me know!

Thanks,

Dan

Hello Dan,

After checking with our engineers, the ER-411 has a SuperCap. Thanks.
