Exporting waypoints
« on: April 27, 2011, 02:56:03 am »

I have a DG-200 and imports the logged route to the sioftware that came with the unit.
I can se the route and the waypoints in the DataCenter. But when I am saving it as a csv, gpx or kml file I don't get the waypoints only the route.
With waypoint I mean those points that are manually saved.

One other thing is that the little rubber thing covering the USB port on the DG-200 got broken at second use. It is attached with two small connections, they must be a miss in the design.

Based on our engineers, please have your DataCenter program get updated. In other words, when a pop-up window appears asking you to update, please accept it.

In the meantime, they will work on the rest of the formats and other items as well as they continually revise the said software.

We truly appreciate your suggestions and further recommendations you may have. Thanks.

You can download the DataCenter program here: http://www.usglobalsat.com/store/download/677/datacenter.zip

Let me check with our engineers to see if there is a newer version of this software.

Please download the latest version from here: http://www.usglobalsat.com/store/download/677/datacenter.zip

It should be able to detect the newest release, which is the version 1.2.1.0328, and emphasize the waypoints (red) in the kml format via Google Earth.

I am impressed with the support, fast and useful.

I had DataCenter version 1.1.0.082401 on my PC before, installed from the CD.
It didn't detect any new version.
I downloaded the new version (1.1.0.1123) from your link.
After that it detected the new version automatically, so now I have 1.2.1.0328.

And now I got all the points as waypoints in the .kml fil.
I got both all automatically saved points as yellow ones and the manually saved as red ones.

I didn't expect the yellow ones to be waypoints, I think it is enough if they are a part of the line as they already are.

I use the gpx file, but I can convert to gpx from kml.

I now got problems opening previous saved gsr files.
If I open a file saved with version 1.1.0.08240 the programs hangs.
If I open a file saved with the latest version I got a script error, like the screenshot:

When you installed the latest version of the DataCenter program, did you uninstall the previous one? If not, please do so and reinstall the newest version.

One more thing, upload the trackpoints from your device once more and save it. Check to see if you're getting the same problem.

By the way, what would be the operating system of your computer? Can you also please send the gsr files to us? Please mail it to support@usglobalsat.com.
