After checking with our engineers, they stated that, as of now, they want the download section for the sport devices to be as brief as possible and not crowd the list with too much information.

However, for future release, the release notes will be included with the download file. Thank you for understanding.

UI Language :English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Chinese(SC), Chinese(TC), Japanese

Release note :
1. Modify PACE value is sampled average per 30 seconds.
2. Fixing PACE INIZ can't count issue.
3. Add japanese language
4.Modify Lap message display time to 7 seconds.
5.Fixing a bug : When  turn on the back light , the battery capicity indicator will down obviously.

Dear all,

I've been happily using a GH-625M for 2 years and now just recieved a new GH-625XT (FW 1201041).
Setting it up I wondered whether I shall upgrade to the new firmware (1210231), given the issues that are mentioned here in the forum (instant pace and virtual trainer functions not smooth). However, I don't understand whether upgrading actually causes these issues or whether it simply hasn't resoved it yet.
Anything speaking against upgrading?

No
I do not think that anything was working better in the old firmware.
Globalsat has a good track record with improving the 625M, we are hoping the same here.
We users just want the software in the device to use the full potential of the hardware, and there were some indications that some functionality was improved. Personally, I am fine with the "problems".

Welcome to the forum! Usually, we recommend to upgrade to the latest version of the firmware since it fixed some bug. You can refer to the release notes in one of the previous postings here.

For end-users, there would be different scenarios in how test they watch. So, it would be possibly be an issue to one end-user; whereas, to another, it's not. However, we do our best to improve the functions and resolve any problems with the watch.

I donīt know the detailed differences between the firmwareversions but the SpoQ-Firmware seems to be more actual than original GS-Sport Firmware.

SpoQ-Firmware (F-OGH-2P-1303012) and 625XT-Firmware (F-GGH-2P-1210231) are different between Logo and character string，other are same。
