Hi all,
My daughter bought this watch via amazon. The model type is SQ 100. The guarantee is 36-month. Great Deal. I compared it with my GH 625XT and from the optical point of view both look absolutly identical.
With my training gym pro (TGP) sw for the GH 625XT and selecting device GH625XT I got no access to the watch. I had to install the TGP (Version 1.6.10)  delivered with the watch which included the device SQ100 to select.
The installed Firmware of this watch is version 2.37, F-OGH-2P-1209192.
I dont know if this Firmware is something special or if I should update it with the newest Firmware used with the GH 625XT to use it with the newest features.
Question:
- is it possible to load the newest firmware of the GH625XT or is there any risk doing it?
- I assume if I load the  newest firmware of the GH 625XT it connects only with the TGP where I can select the device GH625XT?

Did anybody already check this?

I´ve installed the http://www.a-rival.de/downloads/navi/spoq/F-OGH-2P-1209192.GHX Firmware on my GH-625XT. It did work this way, but up to now I´ve not tested the communication between "Pseudo-SpoQ" and Training Gym Pro, but with Sporttracks download works fine (GH-625XT selected).

Today I checked again the connection of the SQ100 and GH625XT with the TGP of GS and TG of Arival SpoQ. Oh wonder, they all recognize the installed devices and track points can be downloaded. Maybe my first trial was a pc com port problem.
Comparing both watches show that the SQ100 comes with a FW which uses big letters where the latest FW of GH625XT uses mixed small and big letters. I checked this by selecting german language. The german used is more precise in the SQ100. I have no idea if there is a difference in the operational sw features.
On the website of Arival SpoQ a german and english manual version 3.0 can be downloaded.

Hallo,
got this SpoQ100 via cyberport. Works nice with TGP of GS. Not clear yet can or should I use latest FW from GS or not.
Didn't figure out how to save Waypoints to pc.
Can see all WP in TGP but not in GE. May be ST does this job but didn't install yet.

I am a very recent owner of a GH625XT too!

From TGP, you can save in a KML file, and then, open it directly with GE.

But it would be nice to import in GE directly from the unit, as it seems to be possible with others units...

As for saving waypoints, do you mean how to create waypoints and save them into the watch using Training Gym Pro installed in your computer? If so, please refer to this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=UE2Q1tzs9vA
If you mean how to save waypoints in your watch, you can refer to its User Manual on pages 35-36: http://www.usglobalsat.com/store/download/690/gh-625xt_user_manual.pdf

With waypoints, just import them to the KML format. You should be able to see the waypoints in Google Earth when you opened up the KML file.

I believe you're able to show on Google Earth the trackpoints, but not waypoints. Have you tried directly importing tracks with Google Earth via Training Gym Pro?

Yes, I know I can do many things when I am inside TGP.

What I tend to regret is to be not able to do other things in other ways more in touch with my needs...
