Re-purposing BT-338
« on: January 22, 2013, 04:52:44 pm »

I would like to reuse my BT-338 v1 GPS module in a microprocessor based project.  Instead of communicating over BlueTooth, I was hoping to be able to tap into the NMEA serial data stream directly on one of the 36 test points or pad connections labeled on the PCB.

Can one of your engineers please document the proper PAD(1-19) or TP(1-20) to use if it is possible on this obsolete GPS device?

Many thanks,
-Marco

Hello Marco,

Welcome to the forums! Unfortunately, the BT-338 is not designed to stream data directly that way since it's designed to communicate via bluetooth.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
