I just bought this dongle because I heard (and read in this forum) it will work in Linux. However, I need instructions in order to set it up. The dongle is indeed identified by the machine once inserted into the usb port. I get the following:

Bus 002 Device 004: ID 067b:2303 Prolific Technology, Inc. PL2303 Serial Port

 However, which software should I use in order to communicate with it? and  how should it be set up? Please suggest.
