Random error in tracking data
« on: February 15, 2013, 05:02:59 pm »

Hi,

I have just purchased a new DG-200 (manufacture date: JAN-2013) and have the following problem:

“The device randomly records an incorrect latitude data point while recording a track.”
It appears that it is adding 100-deg to the latitude value.

Device details are as follows:

Data logging format: Position, Time, Date, Speed
Data logging settings: Enabled WAAS
Data logging interval mode: By Time: 10 seconds

LED: Green flashing at all times.
BATTERY: Fully charged
POWER OFF/ON: Cycled several times during the tracking

Software: Prolific USB-Serial driver version 3.3.17.203
DG-200 Tool: Version S-OPC-15-1211081
Firmware version: F-GPS-0H-1111181

Any suggestions please?
Thanks - Simon.

Hi,

Do I assume that no response after 12 days (not even an acknowledgement) means that you have no idea what the problem with my unit is?
Do I need to ask how to disable static navigation to get a respone?

Very poor service guys.
