Windows 8 compatibility?

I bought a Windows 8 tablet  and am trying to connect the BT-359.  It will connect, but always shows Offline.  Is there a driver update?  Will there be a driver update?  Is there any other solutions to this problem?

I also installed the WPM 6 but it will not start the gps.
