How does that function work?
« on: March 29, 2013, 05:43:09 pm »

Hello, can anyone skilled using 625XT explain me how the "Cardio set" screen is meant to work in more words than what is in the manual?
There are five HR zones, decreased by 10% each from the maximum (maximum can be Custom or By age - thats clear). Is it just an info-table of values just for viewing or how can I use it? I thought it is somehow connected to the function "HR INZN" which measures time of running below (or should it be an interval?) a certain HR, as for my 625XT it is below 120HR. Over this value, the clock stops. But why is it 120? In my table of HR zones (1 to 5) there is no number like that at all. Can I change this number (or interval)?
My wife's watch Polar allows to define one zone only (interval is free to choose), and than it measure time in such defined zone. I thought this would be possible in 625XT as well. I believe it should not be such a problem to allow user to choose zone 1 to 5 from the table in Cardio set screen, so then the HR INZN measure time for such zone...
Of course, it is possible that I misunderstood this Cardio Set screen completely, also because the manual is too brief and in many cases no hellpful.... can anyone pass here a complete guide at least for this screen and HR INZN? I believe it would help many more people. Perhaps few sentences about other not so clear functions of 625XT would be lovely.
I would strongly recommend to amend the user manual!

Dear Daniel

For info-table,you can choose "CUSTOM" from ZONES to set your "Min HR" and "Max HR"。
After you set info-table,please go back  "MAIN MENU" then go ACTIVITY>SETTING>ALERTS>HEART RATE>HR ZONE" and you can select which zone you want to train, then when you over or under the zone, device will beep and pop up message to remind you "HIGH HR ALERT" or "LOW HR ALERT

you also can select "CUSTOM" to set your "Max HR" and "Min HR" zone directly
("MAIN MENU>ACTIVITY>SETTING>ALERTS>HEART RATE>CUSTOM")
same, when you over or under the zone, device will beep and pop up message to remind you "HIGH HR ALERT" or "LOW HR ALERT"。

by the way, when you enter "HEART RATE"
there have 3 ALERT for choose
Unfortunately ALERT2 and ALERT3 both are not working so far
i will pass this problem for our engineer and let you know if they update any news

I hope that will more clear to help you understanding
if you still have questions, please don't hesitate to let me know

Thank you and have a nice day :)

thanks for your answer, will try today evening.

One more thing, not really a problem, just crazy issue... when watch goes into TOD, and you connect to PC with cable, it askes if it should connect to PC. If I select yes, and start the TG, it will not connect! It is needed to first unTOD the watch, and then while connecting to PC with CABLE and selecting YES to connect, the TG will find the watch correctly.
Just perhaps the watch should not ask to connect to PC while in TOD. Not a big issue tho...

well,
the watch enters TOD state after selected time of no usage (to save power)
TG is Training Gym software to view data from watch on map

and thx for the previous help, its exactly as written. Great! I totally missed this section in the menu. My appology.
