Maybe I'm a little bit OT, but I don't know if it's possbile to rollback to factory default a firmware update.

Thank you

[FIXED, see bottom]

Hello.

Tried to update from 1.04 with my Win7 x64 computer, and it started out OK.

However, it got stuck at 000%, and the PC software threw an error at me. So I tried again but the same thing happened.
I closed and started the PC software (gym trainer) again, but now my bike computer is totally dead. It won't display anything. I have tried the PWR + OK + DOWN combination, and just the power button but nothing seems to get any life in it. It will not turn on if I plug in the USB cable either.
Just for the record: I have tried many different USB ports, and I have rebooted my computer. The battery was 100%, and I have also tried to reinstall the USB drivers. I even have an Intel computer...

Any help please?

EDIT:
The issue is now resolved. Was in contact with GS-Sport Support. And the key combination I had to press to get back to flash mode was POWER + ARROW UP + ARROW DOWN.
The unit did go right into flash mode, and I was able to flash 2.0 without any issues.

I have an issue.

Since I upgraded the firmware the device keeps not recording my heart rate many times during an workout. Is shows 0 value for about ten seconds and then it gets back, and after some time it do it again. The battery of the heart sensor is new, and i've checked doing an workout with both the GB-580 and an Garmin device paired with the heart sensor, and it only stopped recording and showing at dysplay in the GB-580.
I would like to know how can I downgrade to the previously firmware.

To downgrade you need the previous FW and run the upgrade procedure.
If you donīt have the previous version, you can send a mail to me.

I couldn't ride yet but all sensors were paired with no problem at all. The only strange thing is to calibrate the compass instead of turn 360š is necessary to rotate almost 600š. I don't have any other compass to compare if is it right or not but since the instruction is to rotate only 360š to get calibrated so I found strange. Do you guys have experienced the same situation?

Upgraded to new firmware without problem.

Altitude recording is now much more accurate than before. Other than that no real change.

However found following bug:
- if you don't save your activity only pause and then turn off the device, than the battery get's drained if you don't ride for a few days.
- this happened twice once on the second ride after charging

So don't forget to STOP and SAVE before turning the device off.

Another bug:
In the distance box, the last digital is under the mi indication so if the distance is 10.220 the upper part of the last 0 is behind the "mi"

Oh, it happens every time I ride. You can just check whether there are five digits in the distance. For example: XX.XXX If there are 3 digits right of the decimal and 2 to the left, the right most digit will be displayed behind the units(mi for example). It's not a huge deal just seems odd.
Also, once it goes into powersave mode(displays the time) there is no way to get it out except to power it down and then back up.

Instead of turn it off, try to press the enter button together with start/stop button for a while. It works for me when this happens.
