Hi Geoffrey, I've bought my GH-625M in May 2009. Since then, the heart rate monitor never worked fine - have the over 200 bpm issue as well. New battery, contact gel and the latest software didn't solve the problem. This belt sucks. So what can I do? Is it possible to get new belt (where? I'm living in Germany) - and would that work finally? Hoping for help, thanks a lot.

Noticed that I get puls on the watch while charging from the computer. Does this effect the pulse if charging from battery and running at the same time?

Best regards
Anders

Yes. And my question is: does this cause trouble for those who charge from battery at the same time as they are running?

Best regards

Yes, but for me it's not that kind of big problem, since after 8-9h I have a kind of slower and a bit more stable pace so that I don't feel the need to monitor HR in the same sence. But  if/when I get faster in longer runs I might miss it. Up until now I have also used pace to moitor myself, but the last race (that was indoor) I used HR and kind of liked it, so maybe next time Ill miss it.
