Start/Stop/Lap button on front side would be nice to have if possible. But it should be slightly embedded compared surrounding surface like Polar have to avoid accidentaly pushing button. On triathlon race during swim it can be hard fighting and there is easy to hit accidentaly other competitor with you watch and push button if it is similar than on GH-505 (I did that last year once, and wathc was stopped during swimming).

Can you give us list of features what you are planned to implement on new triathon watch GH-595?
This wouldn't be a problem if stopbutton had to be pressed for 3 seconds to stop. The only thing that could happen is that you would get several laps during crowded swimming and that ought to be fixed by merging those laps together in Sportstraining gym.

Yes, that would be good way to avoid stopping watch by mistake, but in case of gh-505 it is not used. I would like see this way to handle stopping watch in GH-505 in future.

@ Rookie, Anders,

For further watch, we would like to keep four side buttons. Maybe it is good way for operation.

Sincerely,

Geoffrey

It's your call. You're the watchmakers, we're only the brainstormers.
If you can strip all navigation and handling down to 4 buttons you probably have a good idea of how to do it. However I do personally think that the addition of a single button on the front for start/lap/stop would improve the usability of a sportwatch.

Best regards

..and here comes the 410 xt killer!
Five stars for the bare minimal look and the size!
Can the screen corners be more rounded?

I like it clean and simple, like the "metal" look on the buttons also.

It is possible, but display would be smaller. Square will keep bigger vision.

Are you using star sirf 3 instead of 4 to keep the price low or because ss4 represents too much programming?

GH-595, Oh yeah!!!

Size looks very good.
About colours. I'm not sure yet, do I like or not. Maybe I would like to see GH-595 with carbon look and metallic buttons.

Battery life is too short for triathlon usage. At least it should have possibility to charge it very easily (during race) on the fly.

Also sirf star III was small disappointment, I was waiting sirf star IV  :-\

How about protocol, does it support ANT+ ?

Or at least a Timex Global Trainer killer!

It's with comparaison we can see that bare design is more achieved, attractive and stylish.
Picture quality does not do it justice.
