GH625 problem
« on: September 03, 2010, 08:12:15 am »

Exploring the GPX files from this unit records tracks, I see bad timestamps, and speed indications never exceeding 18 km/h, when I know that speed has frequently be at 40+ km/h.

Any idea of what happens?

Would it be a good idea to reset all its settings and datas in its memory, and/or to install a more recent firmware, and if yes, how can I do that...?

Is there somewhere a french and detailled manual for this unit?

Regards,

Sylvain

Hello Sylvain,

This sounds not right, I have the watch more then 1,5 year and mine is very good. have a look on the site http://www.gs-sport.com/pro_dl.php?en_product_id=1&en_product_cnt_id=23
For the latest software I use it and trackback and all other functions are very nice.
You can also download the update tool. One thing is important don't switch off while it is loading in the new firmware!! For the rest it is easy with the documentation.

Regards,

Albert

Regards,

Thanks,
I found the website to use special alogrithm to come out speed, it means: dist/interval time.
That is why the speed has sudden spurs and I can't find out any speed information from GPX file.

Sincerely,

Geoffrey
