UTM waypoint entry
« on: April 29, 2009, 04:18:35 pm »

Hi again,

as suggested in another threat, what is really missing is UTM format support for waypoint data entry. When I am walking or biking, i usually use good maps, but most of them have just the UTM grid. --> no chance to navigate to an unknown place read out of the map.
Would it be a big deal to include this format in the next firmware?

regards

Hi!

Just bought GH-625M and am very interested in UTM direct entries.

Was this considered in the new firmware?

Thank you very much.

Dear all,

I know it is interesting feature and we have capability to implement this. However, there is no more memory space. That's is why we hold the idea.

Thanks for your kind understanding,

Geoffrey

Hi!
Would it be possible, in order to get additional memory space, a second firmware version without Cardio/Heart Rate monitoring in order to allow for UTM Navigation?

Thank you very much.
Regards.
