This service is offered to customers who fall into the following conditions: a.) Have a GlobalSat product with an expired warranty. b.) Purchased from an un-authorizrd reseller (i.e., e-Bay, Amazon or some other source). c.) Purchased the item used. c.) Is unable provide proof of purchase (copy of an invoice) to validate warranty coverage. This pre-payment fee will allow a the item to be inspected by a factory technician for the purpose of diagnosis only. Fee includes inspection and return freight via USPS for either a repaired, exchanged or unrepairable item. Any parts required to complete the repair if required, or if an additional upgrade charge to have the item exchanged for a replacement is NOT INCLUDED in this fee. Any and all additional chargers can only be quoted after inspection of the returned device has been completed. Any additional charges will only be amde to the customers credit card once customer's approval has been provided. USGlobalSat must receive a customer's approval to proceed with additional charges for the repair/exchange within 15-days of notification. If no response is received in 15-days, the product will be returned to the customer using return address provided as "un-repaired".
