Globalsat Technology was founded in May, 2000 with its headquarters and main ISO9001 production facility located within the prestigious "Far East Century Park " in Taipei, Taiwan.

Established by a collective group of industry professionals, seasoned executives and trend setting engineers, the company's vision to bring advanced wireless technology from Cambridge Park (UK) and Silicon Valley (US) to global applications through a Taiwan based corporation by utilizing unique and innovative integration, has come to pass.

Globalsat Technology has dedicated their focus towards GPS, Bluetooth and mobile wireless communication technology, making Globalsat one of the leaders in the design, manufacturing and marketing of GPS, Bluetooth and mobile wireless communication products.

As part of their global expansion vision, Globalsat Technology had established a North American division in December 2004 to provide localized sales and support of their products to customers who expressed a need for better access to inventory due to rising sales requests. The facility, located in City of Industry, California (USA), was named USGlobalsat, Incorporated, for obvious reasons. It serves as a warehouses and offers Customer Service including first-level technical support for the GPS product line.

Other global offices in Hong Kong and Europe are planned to open very soon to continue with Globalsat's strategic growth. Along with their many corporate and OEM partners, which include Dell Computers and Hewlett-Packard to name a few, Globalsat’s commitment to deliver innovative, high quality products and services remains as their top priority.
